These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by BH Garage Door Inc., including our website at https://bhgaragedoor.net, our garage door repair and installation services, and our SMS messaging program.

1. Services

BH Garage Door provides garage door repair, installation, maintenance, and related services in the Chicago and Chicagoland area, including residential and commercial properties.

2. SMS Messaging Program

Program Name: BH Garage Door Service Updates

Program Description: BH Garage Door’s SMS messaging program is used to send service-related communications to customers who have provided their phone number for the purpose of scheduling and receiving garage door services. Messages include appointment confirmations, technician arrival ETAs, job status updates, invoice and payment links, and two-way conversational messages with your assigned technician.

Opt-In: You consent to receive SMS messages from BH Garage Door by:

• Submitting your phone number through our online contact form at https://bhgaragedoor.net/contact
• Providing your phone number when calling our office at 312-535-7545
• Providing your phone number in person at the time of service
• Texting START to any of our service phone numbers

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may receive multiple messages per day during an active service appointment.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your wireless carrier and plan. BH Garage Door is not responsible for any carrier charges you may incur.

Opt-Out (HELP and STOP): You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from BH Garage Door.

Supported Carriers: Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: Your phone number and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Call Recording

Calls placed to or received from BH Garage Door technicians may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and service documentation. Both parties will be notified at the start of each call that the call may be recorded. Continuing the call constitutes consent to the recording in accordance with Illinois law.

4. Service Pricing and Payment

• Quotes provided over the phone or online are estimates only. Final pricing is determined upon technician inspection of your garage door.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
• Prices and promotional offers are subject to change without notice.

5. Warranty

BH Garage Door provides a lifetime warranty on parts and labor for installations and major repairs, subject to normal wear and tear and proper use. Warranty does not cover damage from accidents, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or natural disasters. Warranty details are provided in writing at the time of service.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled by replying to the appointment confirmation SMS or by calling our office at 312-535-7545. We request at least 2 hours notice for cancellations to avoid a trip charge.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BH Garage Door’s liability for any service or product is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that specific service or product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new “Last Updated” date.
