Sometimes the Door Changed, Not the Rail
Wood swells. Through a humid summer a timber door can gain enough width to start rubbing the track flange, then shrink back in autumn and behave perfectly, which is why some doors here are seasonal in a way that makes no sense to their owners. A sagging bottom section does something similar all year round, as the door stops being a straight edge and starts riding wide at one corner.
So the door gets examined alongside the rail. Hinges with elongated holes let sections wander, worn rollers develop flat spots and play that let the door wander further, and a door out of balance leans on the track the whole way up. Setting the rail without dealing with any of that is half a repair.
