Steel, plastic or nylon: check what you have
Builder-grade doors ship with either bare steel rollers or unsealed plastic ones. Both are loud by design and both wear out on schedule. Nylon rollers on a sealed ball bearing run quieter, do not rust, and do not gouge the inside of the track.

Why a blind swap fails
